Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Hi Organ is an arranger keyboard for iPhone and iPad, made by an independent developer. This policy explains what the app collects, what it never collects, and who processes the little that leaves your device.

By using Hi Organ you agree to this policy. If you disagree with any part of it, please stop using the app.

2. Definitions

App — the Hi Organ application for iOS.

Device — the iPhone or iPad you run it on.

Personal data — information that identifies you as an individual.

Usage data — anonymous information about how the app is used, such as which screen was opened.

3. Information We Collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or account of any kind. The app has no sign-in.

Everything you create stays on your device and is never uploaded: style files you import, recordings you make, your voices, split point, tempo, effect settings and saved keyboard sets. Deleting the app removes all of it.

What is collected is anonymous usage data — screens opened, a style imported, a voice changed, a recording saved — and crash diagnostics when the app fails.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses these services, each with its own policy:

  • Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage events
  • Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports
  • Google AdMob — advertising in the free version
  • Apple StoreKit — the in-app purchase

See Firebase, Google Advertising and Apple.

5. Use of Your Data

Anonymous usage data tells us which parts of the instrument get played so we know what to improve. Crash reports tell us what broke and on which device.

We do not sell data, and we do not combine it with anything that would identify you.

6. Advertising

The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. On first launch iOS asks whether Hi Organ may track you across other apps and websites.

Declining costs you nothing. You keep the entire instrument; the ads are simply less targeted. You can change the answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Buying Premium removes ads altogether.

7. In-App Purchases

Hi Organ Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel.

Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card details. Purchases can be restored on your other devices with the same Apple ID.

Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard terms.

8. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics are retained by Google for up to 14 months by default. Crash reports follow Google's retention policy for Crashlytics.

Anything on your device stays there until you delete it or remove the app.

9. Data Security

Because the app keeps your music on the device and sends no personal data anywhere, there is very little to secure in transit. What is sent to Google is transmitted over encrypted connections.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

  • Tracking — allow or refuse in iOS Settings at any time
  • Analytics and crash reports — write to us and we will ask Google to delete what is tied to your installation
  • Everything else — delete the app; it all goes with it

To make a request, email hsh.instrument.center@gmail.com.

11. Third-Party Links

The app and this site link to Apple, Google and our own pages. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we do not run.

12. Changes to Policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and note it in the app's release notes.
